Swan Lake

The young prince faces his dilemma to choose his bride from among the six princesses who have been invited to his party. But he remains indifferent to them all because he has given his heart to the swans that came to shore and turned into a beautiful woman.

There was nothing interesting to start with at Roscoe’s on Saturday night… Few faces to mingle with and few more songs and by the end of the night I left with four new phone numbers (and names I should try to remember this time) and two beautiful blonde Russian swans.

They are part of The Kirov Ballet of St Petersburg, Russia. After a long night of fun and new friendships (…), they invited me the next day to their final performance in Chicago. "The Swan Lake"... No honey, it was not the famous british interpretation in which the swans were all played by men but the classic, strong russian benchmark.

Love has broken the Evil spell. The rising sun shines over the prince, the beautiful Odette -The Queen of the Swans - and the rescued swans- maidens.

The night is over. Another clubbing tour to Side Tracks, Mini Bar, Cocktails, Hydrate, Roscoe’s and Charlie’s ended right before the sunrise. It was the swan dance at night. The Swan Lake Ballet performed at day. Chicago is so beautiful at evening on 58F. Auditorium Theatre unveiled his old charm , while people were walking slowly the Magnificent Mile.

Sometimes you don’t have to look. The beautiful swan is there, waiting for you…
