Interview with GOD

Part of my life in Chicago is the church. Sundays I try to go to church, as much as I can. It is not the Orthodox church but the Catholic one I go the most. I wish I could go to the Orthodox church only and I missed it so, but I have learned the church is in our souls, no matter where we go. Our faith, hope and pray have different shapes and meanings. Thought these words should live forever in our hearts..... They are from a famous Romanian philosopher...
-Do you want to interview me? So... said GOD
-If you have time, I said

GOD smiled, saying:
-Time is Eternity for me

What surprise you the most, in man?
GOD answered:

-The fact they get bored with childhood, they rush to grow up than they want to be children again; they waist their health to make money than spend the money to get their health back. They fear the future and forget the present therefore they don’t live the present neither the future; they live like they will never die and they die like they never had live a life.

GOD took my hand. We stood still for a while. Than I asked:

As a Father, what are the very few lessons you wish your child should learn?

-I wish they should learn that takes only few seconds to open deep wounds in the souls of whom they love but many years for these to heal; to learn that a rich man is not the one who has the most, but the one who needs the most; to learn that there are people who love them without being able to express themselves; to learn that two people can look at the same object but to see two different things; to learn is not enough to forgive the others, but to learn to forgive themselves.

Thank you for YOUR time, homily I said. There is one more thing: what would YOU wish the man should know?

GOD had looked at me smiling and than HE said:
-Only the fact that I am here; always…

New boy and new look

When a new look is due, not only the hair is getting done but the face also.

I am not talking about the GEROVITAL used religiously every morning, but Urban Outfitters’ fake glasses. They were cheap and cute; especially when the guy I thought was at least 18 said so. But my friend that was there with me said he was barely 15. Well, I couldn’t get in trouble. He said hello first… what was next doesn’t matter anymore. Good enough, he lives a block from the store….

Time goes by

I would only say few words: there is not enough time. The older we get, the less time we have and the fastest this goes away.

Boys, boys, boys, clothes and less… clothes; or clothes coming off. This is the motto for this week, for the next to come and almost every day.

The bars are crazy packed, the lake displays his waves over the Belmont Rocks just to remind every one where the Pride started and where it will go this year. It is one month away but still not enough time.

Where do I get my tan? How do I put on with that cutie? Where would I buy my $300 some jeans?! I have to be pretty, I have to be ready… And still not enough time…

How would I enjoy the view? If he doesn’t take off his shirt? What if he does? Are they clean ? Clean enough to satisfy my ..taste?!

Where this time goes!? Can anyone hold it still?!
